Simon Powell

Simon has over 12 years experience in the adjusting industry, having began his career with Cunningham Lindsey and latterly Sedgwick, working in their large loss division dealing with property and BI losses.

Simon joined QuestGates Ireland in March 2020 and leads our Property and Major & Complex Loss teams. He specialises in dealing with large domestic, commercial property and BI claims and as an associate of both the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and the Chartered Institute of Building Engineers, he has particular expertise in dealing with large buildings claims.

In his spare time, Simon enjoys football and rugby and travelling with his family.

Gary Stoops

Gary entered the insurance industry in 1977 when he joined Eagle Star (now Zurich) to work in their claims department.

He became a loss adjuster in 1979 when he joined Thomas Howell Group (now Crawford & Co) and was their branch manager in Derry/Londonderry. Gary set up OSG in NI in 1998 before joining QuestGates in November 2018 to lead their Ireland property team.

His experience includes dealing with major loss domestic and commercial claims together with catastrophe events ie, hurricane and bomb explosions involving 1000+ claims.

In his spare time, Gary is a FINA swimming referee and officiates at swimming championships throughout Europe.

Glen Donaldson

Glen is a Director of both Rossiter Questgates and QuestGates Ireland Ltd. He has over 18 years claims experience, having started his career at Zurich, before becoming the Head of Liability, and latterly Director of Northern Ireland for Crawford.

He specialises in the investigation and management of large/complex PL and construction liability claims, together with large Commercial property losses. In addition, Glen also has responsibility for the QuestGates Ireland Environmental and Commercial Property division, along with the maintenance of insurer, broker and client relationships.

In his spare time, he enjoys hiking in the Mourne Mountains, watching Ireland at the Aviva stadium and spending time with his young family.
