Direct Settlement

Rossiter QuestGates has been at the forefront of the development of 'Direct Settlement' in Ireland. Direct Settlement means that claims are settled between the Insurer, and any Third Party affected, without going through the Injuries Board assessment procedure, or the traditional legal process.

Legal proceedings can be notoriously lengthy, and the efficiencies available to both insurers, and to members of the public of the direct settlement process are considerable. While affected members of the public are of course always free to pursue any claim via the Injuries Board (in case of personal injury) or to take the advices of a solicitor, the Direct Settlement process offers a rapid alternative, giving both sides the opportunity to quickly resolve the claim on fair terms.
